Georg Philip Krog

Georg Philip Krog became Special Counsel with MLL in 2022. He is the Co-founder & Chief Legal Counsel of Signatu, which is a comprehensive, cloud based SaaS privacy management platform. Georg Krog is the legal brain behind Signatu’s Privacy and Legal Tech products as well as Signatu’s privacy by design and management programmes. Several organisations seek Georg’s advice to achieve data management practices that balance data protection and privacy compliance with strategic, operational and financial risks.

Georg Krog started his career as a researcher at the Faculty of Law in Oslo where he also taught academic courses and tutored Master students. He was a Ruhrgas Scholar at Max Planck Institut in Hamburg where he is a lifelong friend. He then went on to be a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford Law School as well as a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard Law School. He was also a visiting scholar at WIPO. Georg Krog has received numerous honors, awards, grants and fellowships for his scholarly work.

Before founding Signatu, Georg Krog worked as a consultant for 10 years in the area of privacy, data protection, contracts, copyrights and private international law.
